Molly Tarlov (born November 11, 1981) is an American actress who is most famous in 2011 for her portrayal as Sadie Saxton on the television comedy-drama show Awkward. Tarlov was born and was raised within Manhattan, New York, being the younger of two daughters. At the age of 10 Tarlov was a character in Mrs. Peterson as part of an Little Red School House production of Bye Bye Birdie. This was a hugely praised performance by a crowd that included seven-year-olds. She spent summers studying at NYU Tisch as well as the Interlochen Center for the Arts. Bennington College is where she received her bachelor of Arts (theatre) and trained in many different types of acting. The Atlantic Theater Company is where she also studied. In the LAByrinth Theater the Master Class, she managed to integrate writing and her acting. Molly changed her jacket for a black pair of sunglasses before heading to Los Angeles. Her parents were very impressed by her success in landing a part with just three words iCarly. She has appeared on several television programs and developed Caitlin for Winnie Holzman as well as Savannah Dooley in ABC Family's Huge. Molly claims to be able to perform basketball with ease despite the fact that she doesn't. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
